TICKETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION TO THE CEREMONY
RSVP’s and TICKET STATUS
ALL RSVP packages have been mailed by the US Navy. If you requested to attend the ceremony, you should receive your package before January 10, 2018. When you receive your RSVP package, you MUST RSVP so that tickets will be sent to you. You may RSVP either by returning the RSVP Notice card enclosed with the RSVP Package or by emailing the US Navy commissioning support team at ReplyOmaha@McKean-Defense.com. Once your RSVP is received, the government will mail tickets to you. A ticket will-call MAY also be available — more information on location will be posted in late January 2018.
A Ticket “Will Call” will be available for people who HAVE RSVP’d but did not receive tickets. The Ticket Will call is located at the Springhill Suites by Marriott San Diego Downtown/Bayfront at 900 Bayfront Ct, San Diego, CA 92101. Hours are from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM; Wednesday 31 January 2018 – Friday 02 February 2018.

Parking is available throughout downtown San Diego. One of the more convenient and less expensive parking areas is the Ace Parking Garage, 775 WEST Cedar St, San Diego, CA. Parking is available in this lot for $10 for the full day — You can pay on the way out with Cash (faster) or credit card. (Note: Do not park in yellow spaces on first floor). Busses will be run from in front of this parking garage (Loading area on Cedar St Side) to and from the ceremony for the convenience of attendees.
Handicapped Parking available at Navy Region Southwest – located in downtown San Diego at 937 North Harbor Drive on the corner of North Harbor Drive and Broadway. Gate entrance is between Broadway and West E street off of Pacific Highway.

SECURITY PROCEDURES: All bags, purses, wallets, backpacks, coats, etc. are subject to search for weapons, explosives, and contraband. NO weapons including knives or sharp pointed objects are allowed at any commissioning event. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding regarding these procedures required by the U.S. Navy for your safety, the safety of the crew, and the protection of the newest commissioned warship afloat. In order for the security process to flow smoothly and for you and your guests to be seated in time for the ceremony, please ensure that you arrive at the site one hour prior to ceremony.
SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited onboard the ship or during the ceremony.
CAMERAS: The use of cameras/video cameras is permitted in the audience seating area.
AFTER CEREMONY: There will be a post commissioning reception held pier side immediately following the ceremony. Security posture permitting, guests are invited to tour designated areas onboard USS OMAHA (LCS 12) immediately following the ceremony. Tours will not be conducted before the ceremony. Ship Tour/Visit Requirements: No open toed shoes, backpacks, large bags, baby strollers or walkers. Everyone must be ambulatory and able to walk up and down several flights of stairs. There are NO handicap devices onboard to assist guests.
